Anniversary

Another happy anniversary to me! it has now been 6 months since i found out that i have an AVM on my brain stem and since i quit smoking. 6 is a nice round number ;-). i have also now been blogging for 3 months and it continues to be both a cathartic and inspiring experience.

writing this blog allows me to share my highest and my lowest thoughts, my triumphs and my shame. i wish to share all of these experiences, even the humiliatingly personal ones with as many people as possible. it doesn't matter whether you are my best friend, an acquaintance or a complete stranger; by reading my words you are helping me heal. you are shouldering some of my burdens and experiencing some of my joys and for that, i thank you. i also urge you to keep reading, to stay by my side for the entire journey because, just by reading, you help me help myself.
